Aponi
Aponi is a personal project for my Design course final work and touches me emotionally. It is a 2.5D platform game under development with elements of terror and made on Unreal Engine. The focus of this work is the level design and environment. The objective of the game is to guide little Aponi across the dark forest full of danger and scary creatures. It is a dream world bringing sleep paralysis as the main narrative theme.
SOLO DEV
In this project, I acted as the sole developer. I worked in various areas, taking responsibility for the entire game design, level design, 3D art, UI/UX animation, blueprint programming, and implementation in Unreal Engine.
Level Design
As the project's main focus was on studying level design, I had the opportunity to develop guidelines and blockout techniques for the game. These guidelines and techniques were intended to reflect the desired player experience throughout each chapter of the game.
