This is Nessa!

I'm a Level and Game Designer with three years of experience in the gaming industry, working on AAA and indie titles across genres like FPS, racing, action, casual, and card games. I've had the opportunity to collaborate with teams of various sizes on these projects. Additionally, I bring over eight years of background in architecture and urban planning, which deeply informs and enhances my approach to level design.

I've been passionate about games, especially video games since I was a child. I truly believe that games transform people, help them deal with difficult situations, stimulate the desire to become better individuals, unite and create bonds between people, bring well-being, generate deep and philosophical reflections, and touch emotionally. Video games have done all of this for me, so my goal is to make games to spread love, welcome, and include people in this universe, and make them feel good. This is my way of embracing people and saying, "It's okay. Everything will be all right."

Games & Architecture

I had the pleasure of working as a professor in the game design undergraduate programs, teaching 3D modeling, animation, and game design. Additionally, I participated as a thesis evaluation committee member and project advisor. I also currently work as a volunteer at Mentorias Games Brazil, guiding people who dream of working in the games industry.

I have experience in game jams as a mentor and participant in events such as Women Game Jam, and I have been involved in organizing the Imune Game Jam. I actively contribute to the gaming community through live streams, workshops, podcasts, and interviews, always seeking to create a pleasant, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone involved.

As an architect I had my own office for 8 years, working on residential, commercial, and interior design projects.

I truly believe that games transform people, help them deal with difficult situations, stimulate the desire to become better individuals, unite and create bonds between people, bring well-being, generate deep and philosophical reflections, and touch emotionally.

I have always found it easy to deal with people and the variety of skills and experiences acquired over these years have helped me become a better leader, mentor, and colleague.

In addition to making and playing games, I love dogs, music, musicals, podcasts, cocktails, traveling, cosplaying, board games, and practicing sports that challenge me like crossfit and also those that relax me like hiking and being in contact with nature.
